About Curriculum2Go
Learning, creating, and following ideas wherever they lead.
Curriculum2Go is the umbrella for David Futch’s work in education, history, photography, and storytelling.
A home for meaningful work.
Curriculum2Go began as an education consultancy and has grown into a home for several ventures connected by curiosity, narrative, and the desire to create meaningful, useful work.
Look closely, remain curious, and turn what you learn into something worth sharing.
An educator’s foundation
Experience across classrooms and systems.
David’s career began in the classrooms of Northeast Florida, where he worked with students and educators at the elementary, middle, and high school levels. His experience has included teaching social sciences, supporting technology-rich instruction, coaching and mentoring teachers, managing an elementary computer lab, and teaching web design, video production, and visual design.
He later served as a district instructional technology coordinator, helping connect instructional goals with emerging technologies and supporting the implementation of learning management systems and online publication tools.
David holds a bachelor’s degree in secondary education from Flagler College and a Master of Education in instructional technology from the University of Central Florida.
Consulting and professional learning
Helping educators turn resources into learning.
For more than fifteen years, David has partnered with teachers, school districts, and education organizations through Curriculum2Go. His work has included professional development, instructional coaching, curriculum design, technology integration, and online course development.
A long-running relationship with Discovery Education extended this work to educators across the country. David has facilitated training, developed instructional materials, and helped teachers use digital media, STEM resources, project-based learning, and blended-learning strategies more effectively.
His experience also includes work associated with Google for Education and Reading Horizons, as well as long-term coaching with the Miami-Dade County Public Schools Digital Leader Network.
Curriculum and digital learning
Designing for changing classrooms.
David has designed online professional-learning courses, gifted-endorsement coursework, museum-based lessons, digital classroom resources, and materials exploring the responsible use of artificial intelligence in education.
His course-development experience has included work for organizations such as FDLRS, the Northeast Florida Educational Consortium, and St. Johns Technical College. He has worked with learning platforms including Google Classroom, Canvas, Schoology, and other learning management systems, as well as online publication tools.
He has also contributed to the Florida Educational Technology Conference as a presenter, reviewer, and education-technology advocate over many years.

Beyond the classroom
Storytelling, history, and creative exploration.
Education remains the foundation of Curriculum2Go, but the work has expanded into storytelling, history, and creative exploration.
The Saint Augustine History Project brings together David’s interests in local history, research, place, and digital storytelling. David Futch Photography provides another way to document landscapes, architecture, nature, and the details that give a place its character.
Farmer Greenrake is a storytelling project designed for elementary-age students, though it can be enjoyed by all ages. Through a relatable narrative medium, it shares core tenets of the Christian faith in a way that is accessible, engaging, and rooted in story.
Each venture is different, but the underlying idea remains the same: look closely, remain curious, and turn what you learn into something worth sharing.
